After being picked up from your hotel, you will be taken directly to the lower cableway station on the slopes of Table Mountain. Weather permitting, ascend the mountain by aerial cable car (the cost of the cable car is not included in the tour cost). From a height of 1067m, view the city and Table Bay below; also Robben Island, the Atlantic seaboard, and most of the spectacular Cape Peninsula.
We then head down into the Bo Kaap Malay Quarter with its narrow cobbled streets and colourful Mosques. Having parked at the top of Government Avenue, stroll to the National Gallery and the South African Museum. View the Houses of Parliament. Then to the City Hall on the Grand Parade, and later a visit to the Castle.
Enter the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront that abounds with shops, pubs, restaurants, and entertainment. You may leave the tour here to explore on your own or return to your hotel at approximately 13:00h.
Includes: Transportation by minibus, services of a local guide, and all entrances except Table Mountain.
